Dexter and a slew of other shows are coming to Amazon’s European streaming service LoveFilm.
Subscribers in the UK and Germany will have access to several past seasons of Showtime’s hit series. In addition to Dexter , viewers can dive into episodes from several seasons of Nurse Jackie and Californication .
According to Mashable , the Showtime programs aren’t the only recent addition to the LoveFilm streaming service. The deal between Amazon and the folks at CBS Studios also includes The Good Wife and Blue Bloods .
While Dexter and Nurse Jackie are certainly great shows, they aren’t the only recent additions that subscribers should be very excited about at the moment.
Tech Digest reports LoveFilm added past seasons of the ultra-gory and extremely popular AMC series The Walking Dead . Curious viewers gained access to season one on June 20. Other seasons, including the upcoming fourth season, are scheduled to be added over the next 18 months.
“It is seriously impressive that the show has become one of the most-watched drama series in basic US cable history, and a real testament to its quality. We are thrilled to bring this great content to our members, especially as we are the only subscription service in the country to do so,” LoveFilm’s Chris Bird said in a statement.
Season eight of Dexter is just right around the corner for Showtime subscribers. Over the next twelve episodes, showrunners will attempt to put all of the pieces together for one big finale. You can check out a teaser for the season premiere below.
Spoiler warning: If you’re not caught up with Dexter through the seventh season, then I strongly suggest skipping over the preview. I’m not sure if it gives anything away, but you really don’t want to run that risk. You have been warned.
