Actress Devon Aoki is expecting her second child with husband James Bailey.
The 30-year-old actress and husband are expecting their second child together, according to People . Aoki and Bailey shared their happy news at Baby2Baby’s first annual gala geld this weekend in Culver City, California.
The couple’s new daughter will join her big brother James Hunter Jr., 17-months-old, in their home.
The model-turned-actress and then-fiancé Bailey announced the birth of their son in June 2011. Bailey tweeted a photo of the baby boy shortly after the infant was born, giving a play-by-play on the social media site during Aoki’s labor: “Epidural and nappy time – no heros here ;).” In a separate tweet after the birth, he wrote “Celebrating the birth of our son and Devon and my anniversary yesterday is more than I could ever ask for. Our family keeps growing.”
According to the Daily Mail , Aoki eventually went on in her career to replace Naomi Campbell as the face of Versace, and has posed for fashion giants Chanel and Fendi.
Bailey, an American financier, got engaged to Aoki in 2010, and the couple announced their initial pregnancy in January of 2011.
Aoki’s film credit include 2 Fast 2 Furious and Sin City , and she is the sister of DJ Steve Aoki and the daughter of the late Hiroaki Aoki. She is an heiress to the Benihana restaurant chain.
The Aoki restaurant fortune is estimated to be worth between $60 million and $100 million.
