Season 5 of Dance Moms has officially started, and viewers were treated to a lot of drama in the season premiere. Episode 2 of the new season airs on Tuesday night, and viewers are anxious to know what is going to happen. What Dance Moms spoilers are available for “Abby Got Served”?
The show’s Facebook page shares the big preview for the January 13 show. Abby Lee Miller has orchestrated a big showdown between Maddie and Kalani, and it’s easy to see some of the other moms bristling a bit. Will Maddie finally be beat in a competition by another Abby Lee Dance Company team member, as Miller taunts?
TV Guide teases Dance Moms spoilers that Jeanette is out for revenge in this one, and viewers will see more regarding the lawsuits against Abby involving the Hyland family. While it seems that Miller’s ALDC crew will stand by her, for now, she does do something in this episode that manages to upset her team.
How do things go at the competition in this episode? Dance Moms spoilers from the show’s Wikia page indicate that the group dances a number titled “Stomp the Yard,” a piece based on the show Orange Is the New Black. It seems that this performance will take first place in the Junior division.
As for that big face-off between Maddie and Kalani, apparently Maddie stays on top. She takes first place in the Junior division and second overall, while Kalani takes second in the Teen division and fourth overall. Who takes first place overall? That honor is said to go to a male dancer from another dance school.
There will be a lot of drama surrounding Ava and her mom Jeanette in this episode. As Dance Moms fans remember, Miller kicked them off the select team last season. They tried to return and were booted yet again. Now they are back in a new way and Abby is going to go ballistic, it seems.
Ava’s current studio, Broadway Dance Academy, is at the competition against the ALDC. There are accusations made that Abby goes backstage during the competition and tries to distract Ava before her performance to throw her off.
Will Miller’s strategy work? Dance Moms spoilers indicate that Ava’s solo takes second place in the Junior division, third overall, so she still does quite well. However, she finishes behind Maddie, and Abby will surely gloat over that.
While Chloe Lukasiak and the Hylands are gone now, Abby has a full team and plenty of drama going on in Season 5. Tune in to Dance Moms airing Tuesday nights on Lifetime to see just what happens next.
