Dale Earnhardt Jr . will be celebrating his BIG 4-0 birthday on October 10. But it seems as though the celebration has already begun, and his present? A jacked-up KIT car!
Dale Jr. has hooked up with the folks at Funny Or Die in a hilarious new spin-off of Knight Rider. We all remember the original David Hasselhoff and his sarcastic KIT car. KIT was always raring to go and catch “the bad guys.” Dale Jr. ‘s KIT car is not quite the same, according to Sporting News .
In this hilarious video, Dale Jr. is ready to fight crime, but his whiny KIT car has other ideas, and this time it’s a female voice — very similar to that of Siri, only with a little more attitude.
KIT gets cranky when Dale Jr. eat fast food while driving, and intentionally slows down when Dale Jr. pushes the pedal to the metal to catch the crooks. “Slow it down, it’s not safe to drive this fast,” KIT complains. “I like fast,” Dale Jr. quips back. “Maybe that’s why you’re single.” OUCH! No, maybe he’s single because he already has a nag.
What a fun video for Dale Earnhardt Jr. fans. But the fun doesn’t end there. Earnhardt Jr. is planning a huge birthday celebration with his fans. Fox Sports reports that Dale Jr.’s birthday festivities will be on Saturday, October 11 at Charlotte Motor Speedway .
Junior Nation can look forward to a concert by The Band Perry, Q&A session with Dale Jr. himself along with his NASCAR racing buddy Jimmie Johnson, and even a pre-race pit road access.
