Connie Ditto still remains missing. The Henrico County, Virginia, resident last contacted her husband about going to a clinic to get checked for her head pains, before disappearing.
The mystery of missing Connie Ditto , a mother of two daughters in Virginia, continues to baffle law enforcement officials who are trying to trace her whereabouts. She had last sent an innocent looking text message to her husband, informing him that she was getting herself checked at a hospital for her head pains.
The police know that Connie Ditto was last seen on Tuesday evening at around 9 p.m. as she checked into the Patient First clinic in Short Pump, Virginia, reported the Daily Mail . Prior to the visit, Ditto had sent out a text to her husband informing him about her whereabouts. Moreover, she even asked him not to come down to the hospital as she was being sent to the hospital for x-rays. Not suspecting anything out of the ordinary, her husband, Mark Ditto, merely acknowledged the same.
However, it seems Connie Ditto never saw a doctor. Police officers later confirmed that 41-year-old Ditto left the clinic before her name was even called and did not see a doctor. She has been missing ever since. Mark and his two step-daughters went to the clinic and even to the hospital trying to understand what happened to Connie, but could find no trace of her. Mark then went to file a ‘missing person’ report the next morning.
Connie Ditto had suffered a fall just last week and had complained about her head hurting, shared her husband. Connie believed she might have suffered from an internal injury and hence fixed up an appoint to see a doctor, but instead has gone missing. What’s puzzling is the fact that after Connie sent out the text informing her husband about the tests, her mobile phone was turned off. While it may be a common protocol in hospitals to ask patients to switch off their electronic devices, she never switched it back on. Expressing concern about the odd behavior, Connie’s husband Mark said:
“I am clueless as to what happened. Why did she turn her phone off? I fear she’s driven off somewhere, that’s she’s blacked out and gone.”
The police have launched an investigation and are looking at all possible angles. They will soon gain access to Connie Ditto’s credit card reports to retrace her steps. The missing person report describes Connie Ditto as a Hispanic female, 5’2?, 115 pounds, with shoulder-length dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was driving a dark blue 2013 Volkswagen Tigua with Virginia license plate #WLV8676.
