Chelsea Houska is fed up with Adam Lind — and who wouldn’t be after seeing the latest Teen Mom 2 sneak peek? In a clip released on MTV last week, Lind was seen grilling Aubree about her mother, Chelsea Houska, as well as her thoughts on visitation. Days later, the reality star has taken aim at Lind’s parenting, or rather his lack thereof.
During a July 21 interview with Wetpaint Entertainment , Chelsea Houska claimed she was the one raising her daughter, Aubree, while Lind’s interaction with the child is now limited to supervised visitation.
“I don’t really consider what Adam and I have to be co-parenting, because he has supervised visits every other weekend, so he doesn’t really have the responsibilities of a parent. I’m just parenting and he’s just visiting.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Chelsea Houska and Lind dated on-and-off for years, but now, she’s in a much happier relationship with Cole DeBoer. While chatting with Perez Hilton weeks ago, Chelsea Houska spoke of Lind’s failure to step up as a genuine parent, and revealed DeBoer had stepped up in Aubree’s life as a father figure .
“You are going to see it all play out … Me getting the letter and dealing with the lawyer, and they filmed us going into court … It’s hard to go back to a time when you were really stressed out and to have those feelings again, but I try not to let it bother me.”
According to Chelsea Houska, Lind didn’t really want to be a parent while filming Teen Mom 2 Season 6 — he just wanted to look like he wanted to be a parent.
Earlier this month, Chelsea Houska revealed she and DeBoer were planning to move in together in the coming weeks. Below is her statement to In Touch Weekly .
“We will be [living together] soon — within a month. I have my own house, so he’ll be moving in with me. [Aubree] loves Cole. Adam [Lind, Aubree’s troubled father] is not a part of my life anymore. So Cole has taken on the parent role. He is so good with Aubree. I don’t see my life without Cole.”
Chelsea Houska has been dating DeBoer since last summer. As she revealed on Teen Mom 2 , she and her boyfriend met at a gas station near her South Dakota home.
