Charlie Sheen reportedly broke of his engagement to his porn star fiancée, Brett Rossi, only a few short weeks before their wedding, which was set to take place some time in November, due to some heated arguments which got the best of the couple.
Radar Online reported yesterday that Sheen confirmed the bad news via his rep, Jeff Ballard, in a statement, saying that while he still thought Rossi was a “terrific gal,” he decided for his own reasons to focus on being the best father he could, for the moment.
An inside source told Radar about the sudden breakup between Charlie Sheen and Brett Rossi .
“The relationship actually ended a few weeks ago. Charlie finally broke up with her and kicked her out of the house. All of the fighting had just gotten out of control, and Brett was making him miserable. Charlie just wanted to hang out with his friends, but Brett always pitched a fit when he did.”
The news has come as a bad shock to many, as well as possibly Rossi. Until recently, Sheen was seen in public on numerous occasions sporting an engagement ring following the happy announcement of marriage earlier this year.
Back then, a source alleged to the publication that Sheen had only agreed to wear the ring under pressure from Rossi.
“Brett forced Charlie to wear the wedding band, which he is wearing as an engagement ring. Charlie continues to hang around with other women, which infuriates Brett. … Brett wants to make it clear that Charlie is off the market.”
But, as often happens weeks before a wedding, the relationship between Sheen and Rossi took a turn for the worse when the latter reportedly turned into the bride from hell, becoming very demanding in terms of the wedding itself and other things.
Charlie Sheen spoke about the breakup to the publication yesterday (via Ballard).
“Scotty and I had a great year together as we traveled the world and crossed a lot of things off our bucket list. She’s a terrific gal, but we’ve mutually decided to go our separate ways and to not spend the rest of our lives together. I’ve decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now. I still have tremendous fondness for Scotty and I wish her all the best.”
As things stand, the Charlie Sheen/Brett Rossi wedding is off for the time being, and according to most accounts, will stay “off” from the serious tine of the statement Sheen released.
