Anyone who followed the 2016 election is no stranger to celebrity reactions when it was revealed that Donald Trump was running against Hillary Clinton with the hope of presidential victory.

The Hill reports that dozens of celebrities vowed to leave the United States following Donald Trump’s presidential victory, including Bryan Cranston, Samuel L. Jackson, Miley Cyrus, and Amy Schumer. The question is – what kind of reactions are celebrities having now that Donald Trump has become the next president of the United States?

Anyone who followed the 2016 election is well aware of the fact that Hillary Clinton had the support of a number of different celebrities. Despite the massive celebrity support Clinton had, it was Donald Trump who ended up with presidential victory. In fact, Trump had an upset win when his Electoral College votes were compared to Clinton’s.

Business Insider reports Donald Trump received reactions involving congratulations, celebration, and praise from celebrities who had supported him from the beginning. This included celebrities such as Stephen Baldwin and Ted Nugent.

The number of celebrities in both the United States and abroad that supported Hillary Clinton, however, is far greater than the number of celebrities who supported Donald Trump. Celebrities who supported Hillary Clinton instead of Donald Trump have responded to his presidential victory with fear, disbelief, and shock. Some celebrity reactions have involved rallying cries on social media and protests against his presidential victory.
