Electronic Arts has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops II players will be able to stream their adventures live to YouTube, according to Gamespot .

As of this writing, the service will only be available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 when the game launches later this month. It’s currently unknown if the PC gamers will be able to stream their own battles to the video sharing website as well.

Digital Spy explains that players will be able to stream Black Ops II league games complete with webcam and audio commentary. Individuals watching the battle on YouTube will be able to see the gamer card of the person streaming the match.

“From the beginning of development with Black Ops 2, the team has been pushing boundaries on every front to offer Call of Duty fans things that they haven’t been able to do before,” Treyarch’s Mark Lamia explained. “With our competitive play and eSports initiatives, we wanted to deliver live streaming capabilities built right into Black Ops 2, because Call of Duty is not only fun and exciting to play, but we believe it will be just as exciting to watch.”

He added, “By making the capability of live streaming as accessible as possible to our fans, straight from a player’s console without the need for any additional hardware or sophisticated setups, we are empowering our fans to share their multiplayer experiences.”

In addition to typical multiplayer and single player modes, Call of Duty: Black Ops II will feature a new and improved zombie survival mode. This section features an open world for players to explore, allowing them to venture from location to location courtesy of a bus.

Black Ops II will hit retail shelves on November 13. Are you looking forward to the game? Do you think being able to stream matches to YouTube is a nice addition to the series?
