Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt said that the 22-year-old is “healing” in a recent Facebook post. According to People Magazine , Leolah Brown provided fans with an update of sorts, saying that her niece is still fighting and asking the public for their continued support.
“We are allowing her to just continue healing in God’s Grace and Mercy. Please continue to be patient with us. We are all grateful to Almighty God for allowing us to still have Krissi with us! So with that said, let us keep our hearts and minds on Bobbi Kristina’s complete healing! While continuing in our patience. We love and appreciate you all! May God bless you all for your continued prayers.”
The update comes after a report that the Browns and the Houstons were getting ready to say goodbye to Bobbi Kris after months of deliberating. The family hasn’t said whether or not they plan to take Krissi off of life support.
Bobbi Kristina’s aunt may say she’s healing, but other updates from her family suggest just the opposite. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Bobbi’s grandmother, Cissy Houston (Whitney Houston’s mother), updated the public last month. Cissy said that Bobbi Kris hadn’t made any kind of progress. While she is still “alive,” she doesn’t seem to be getting better, and that’s tough to deal with.
“She’s the same, she’s not progressing at all. She’s not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I’m ready for her… I have nothing to do with that. That’s His job. It’s His territory, you know? And I understand it.”
According to Us Weekly , Bobbi Kristina has been in a coma for the past four months . She was found face down in her bathtub in her Georgia home back in January. Some say that she tried to recreate her mother’s death.
Despite the conflicting statements from various family members, there doesn’t seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel for Whitney and Bobby Brown’s daughter. She is said to have no brain activity, hasn’t opened her eyes, and hasn’t spoken since she was found.
If Bobbi Kristina’s aunt is right — and she’s healing — one would think that there is a chance, even if it is slim, that she will come around. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
