Are Nathan Griffith and Jenelle Evans back on? Although the Teen Mom 2 couple called off their engagement earlier this year, a new photo makes it seem that they are back on.
On June 15, over three months after her split from Nathan Griffith, Evans surfaced on Instagram, where she shared a photo of herself in a bikini. Although the photo wouldn’t have normally been newsworthy, the fact that her engagement ring was on her finger caught the attention of many fans.
Nathan Griffith began dating the Teen Mom 2 star in June, 2013, and by June, 2014, they welcomed their first child. Several months later, in January, 2015, Nathan Griffith proposed, and from there, the couple appeared to be doing well. However, their excitement about a future wedding came to a screeching halt in early March, when Evans and Nathan Griffith reportedly engaged in the first of two dramatic fights, both of which resulted in one party spending time behind bars (Griffith was arrested in March and Evans turned herself in regarding a separate incident at the end of May).
During an interview with Hollywood Life last week, Evans opened up about the status of her and Nathan Griffith’s relationship, claiming they were “on the rocks.”
“We have no idea what’s going on right now. Nathan knows I took it [engagement ring] off. We’re not going to put a front on like everything is okay. People go through ups and downs. Whenever we’re not with each other we don’t trust each other. I haven’t done anything to be unfaithful so there is nothing on my end he needs to be concerned of.”
As Evans and Nathan Griffith attempt to figure out their relationship, MTV camera crews have been on hand, capturing all of the dramatic moments between them for the upcoming sixth season of Teen Mom 2 .
“Oh definitely. And I’m not looking forward to it. This season is going to be on point with first reactions. The stuff they captured this season, every time something happened they ended up being there. I’m glad they got it, because I like to be as real as possible with everybody.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Evans has been accused of moving on from Nathan Griffith with a new man, but denied reports on Twitter.
