Alexis Bellino is leaving the hit Bravo reality show, Real Housewives of Orange County . A graceful and quiet exit does not seem like a possibility for the blonde California mom. Co-star and on-screen nemesis, Tamra Barney, is alleging that Bellino is lying about her reasons for deciding to live life away from the spotlight.
A Radar Online source claiming to be close to the reality star maintains Alexis is simply tired of the booze-fueled catfights and drama. Living a normal life her family is a top priority, and the Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC) does not provide that type of environment, according to the source.
Tamra Barney tweeted this about her exiting castmember:
“Let’s just say that the story I read and what I was told does not match. In my opinion her story is never straight. Who leaves a successful show?”
RHOC producers wanted Alexis Bellino to return for another season on the Bravo series, according to Radar Online .
The reality show star had this to say about her decision to leave the cast:
“I feel sad that it reached the point it has with some of them. Vicki [Gunvalson] and I are still good friends. We speak every week and hang out when we get the chance.”
The California housewife spent three seasons on the hit show before waving good-bye to the cameras. She reportedly began contract negotiations with Bravo before deciding she was tired of being bullied and chose family over celebrity, according to an US Weekly source.
During the last season of RHOC filming, all the fighting allegedly put unwanted stress on both the non-scripted show performer and her husband, Jim Bellino. The couple has three young children.
