Adele has been the subject of rumors the past few days, specifically over the status of her relationship with Simon Konecki. The couple shies away from cameras as a matter of course, but recent talk claims the two have been experiencing a difficult period in their relationship. Konecki and Adele have a two-year-old son.
The Mirror reported that Adele has been spending time at her home in London while Konecki has remained in Brighton, where the couple shares a seaside home worth £2.5 million (US $3.9 million).
Konecki and Adele’s son Angelo was born in October 2012. Konecki has a daughter from his previous marriage to Clary Fisher.
Apparently aware of the rumors, Adele took to Twitter to combine her holiday message with a note about her relationship status.
Just wanted to wish everyone happy holidays & all the best for 2015! PS Simon & I are still very much together, don’t believe what you readx

Adele, 26 and Konecki, 40, are private about their relationship. When the pair stepped out in May to celebrate Adele’s birthday, Just Jared called it a “rare” public appearance . They did not make their relationship public until they were seen vacationing together in 2012. Adele did not officially announce her pregnancy until four months before Angelo was born. At the time of her announcement, she said the parents-to-be were “over the moon,” but also asked for privacy.
Konecki is the CEO of a charity devoted to clean drinking water, Drop4Drop. Adele has promoted the charity’s work on her Twitter page, specifically on World Water Day in March.

The New York Times revealed in October that a new Adele album this year was unlikely, citing as confirmation a note in the financial statement of her record label that cited a lack of an Adele release for a drop in the company’s profits.
“There will not be a further new release by Adele during 2014 and consequently there will be a fall in XL’s turnover and profits.”
Adele’s two albums, 19 and 21, were released in 2008 and 2011 respectively. She also contributed the song “Skyfall” to the James Bond film of the same name and won an Academy Award in 2013 for her effort.
