President Obama will appear on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno tonight.

The president flew into Los Angeles today to sit down with Jay for a brief interview. The segment won’t air until later tonight by Jay did give a hint about the topic of conversation on Twitter.

Jay writes: “On The # TonightShow this evening, @ BarackObama discusses the economy, healthcare, Russia, Snowden and more!”

The Atlantic reports that the “more” part of the conversation includes terrorism, the recent embassy closures , the NSA and Hilary Clinton .

Obama told Leno that the government wasn’t overreacting when it decided to shut down more than a dozen embassies in the light of a possible terrorist attack. Obama even encouraged people to travel abroad, saying : “The odds of dying in a terrorist attack are a lot lower than they are of dying in a car accident.”

The conversation didn’t get much lighter then that as Jay and Obama dived into the NSA scandal. Obama denied that the government had a domestic problem but admitted that NSA is capable of tracking a phone number if it is necessary.

Obama said : “We don’t have a domestic spying program… What we do have is some mechanisms that can track a phone number or an email address that is connected to a terrorist attack…That information is useful.”

The president also talked about Russia (we’re still friends despite that Snowden mess), Hilary Clinton (he doesn’t know if she’ll run) and the do-nothing congress.

Tonight we’re joined by President @BarackObama and the legendary Patti LaBelle! #TonightShow
