Keifer Sutherland returns as Jack Bauer for the 7th season of 24. The 7th series was originally delayed by the writers strike, but after a long delay, the series returns with two-hour “prequel” TV movie titled 24: Redemption? on November 23, 2008 that bridges the gap between seasons with the new series to start Sunday, January 11, 2009.
Key changes/ points in the new series:
– CTU is gone. – There’s a female president. – Jack Bauer is called before a Senate committee to answer for his actions in preventing terror attacks, including torture. – Tony Almeida is back, but definitely not how you expect.
