I’m drawn to it but I don’t want to look– another celebrity-designed clothing line! Actually, it’s even worse: it’s Take Two of an already established (and pretty appalling) collection.
You can thank Jennifer Lopez for the next installment of semi-generic pieces , their release timed perfectly with her new reality show. The line has been described as a combo of street and athletic gear, so I’m thrown off by this fancy leather jacket, mary janes, and skirt combo on the website. Oh, well. . . I’m sure that it’s just a hint of the confusion to follow when the full Fall 2008 stuff debuts.
There’s one perk I forgot to mention. If you sign up for J Lo’s iPod Touch giveaway, you can sign up for “free” promotional emails and a “free” email from J Lo. Free emails? Wow . Obviously we don’t need to worry about the state of the clothes with such marketing mavens at the helm!
