Is Denise Richards too skinny ? Ex-husband Charlie Sheen doesn’t seem to think so. The Warlock himself took to Twitter to slam the “dooshy” media for drawing so much attention to Richards’ appearance.
New photos of Denise Richards surfaced last week, with The Huffington Post complimenting the 42-year-old actress and mom for her “super-svelte frame.”
Folks in the comments section kindly disagreed, and were largely shocked by Richards’ gaunt appearance. It wasn’t long before other media publications picked up on the story, and the question “is Denise Richards too skinny?” became the topic du jour of the week.
Richards herself told ExtraTV that she doesn’t understand all of the attention her figure it getting lately, and said that she merely exercises and eats well.
“I don’t know why lately I’ve been getting so much flack for it… I have a very healthy lifestyle and I’m busy. I have a daughter who’s almost 2 that I carry all the time. She’s just under 30 pounds,” she said.
“What bothers me is I have three daughters, and I’m such an advocate for health and fitness… in moderation. We eat ice cream all the time. I had grilled cheese before we got here,” she continued.
A rep for the actress also confirmed that everything is fine.
Ex-husband Charlie Sheen has also jumped in as of Wednesday, tweeting :

That last bit “cybw” means “see, you’ve been warned” and makes more sense when you click the picture in the tweet. It shows Sheen and an unidentified male with a plastic bag over his head. So, you know, it’s a threat. Or something.
