A new year marks the beginning of a new year of gaming , and there is one game in particular that a lot of anime fans are looking forward to. That is Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.
According to Gaming Blend , the release date for Namco Bandai’s upcoming action-fighting game based on Shonen Jump’s popular anime Naruto Shippuden has been set.
The games release day is only two months away. You will be able to grab a copy of your own on March 5th.
The game will be compatible with the Xbox 360 as well as the PlayStation 3.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 will have everything a fan of the show could ask for.
The story revolves around the Fourth Great Ninja War, as players will dive headfirst into the conflict that arose from the explosive combination of combustible personalities and deadly ninjas.
The gameplay looks to be pretty outstanding as well.
The game will give the player the ability to play as 72 offered characters including several new characters. This makes it the largest cast in the Ultimate Ninja series.
The fighting system is said to have been modified with the Awakening Mode, a state that gives each character enhanced abilities when their health gets too low. However, the Awakening Mode can only be used once per battle.
As in the previous games, the player can choose two characters to assist them while fighting. The assisting characters now can also aid the player with the use of two different types of combos. Additionally, the assistants have health bars, losing health whenever they get hit and becoming unusable when their health reaches 0.
Based on the trailer from GameSpot (shown below), you will be given the opportunity to play as each of the tailed beast jinchurikis. Also, you will be able to see all of your favorite special moves performed with brilliantly done visuals.
