Pink might be a devoted wife and mother now, but, back in the “glory days,” she was an anything-goes up-and-coming pop star on tour with big names like *NSYNC and 98 Degrees . Part of “anything-goes” apparently meant a date with Joey Fatone, Pink revealed in a recent interview.
In the June 2013 issue of Glamour , Pink revealed a rather surprising courtship from early in her career. She had a short-lived romance with *NSYNC member Joey Fatone .
“Joey Fatone was in love with me. He took me to Friendly’s on a date, and he bought me an ice cream. Such a sweetheart. He asked my dad’s permission,” Pink recalled.
She also revealed that tour with the boy bands was often a wilder ride than we might have imagined. “It was Beatlemania for those boys. I got in trouble for toilet-papering 98 Degrees’ bus.”
But those days are solidly behind her, as she is now happily married to professional motocross racer Carey Hart, despite a rough patch and separation in 2008 .
“Are things ever good? I don’t believe that exists. Long-term relationships are an everyday choice. It’s harder to be in a marriage than it is to bounce from one relationship to the next. We’re good because we communicate and we’ve grown up together, not because we don’t fight,” Pink said of her relationship.
And being a parent to little Willow Sage Hart helps, too.
“Every time she bounces on the bed, I see stitches. Being a parent is a Jedi mind f—. It’s also the raddest thing ever,” Pink gushes.
