Gus, the Chinese crested dog from St Petersburg, Florida who won the Annual World’s Ugliest Dog contest has died of cancer, aged 9.
Gus was rescued by his owners when he was a puppy after they learned he was being kept in a create in someone’s garage. Gus was bald except for a white tuft on his head, and had one eye, then later lost that eye in a fight with a cat, and only had 3 legs.
