A new image from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 shows off the sequel’s costume.
Director Marc Webb teased the new outfit in a video he uploaded earlier this month. However, fans of the superhero now have a chance to see what the costume will look like in the follow-up.
According to Coming Soon , changes to the Amazing Spider-Man 2 outfit include bigger eyes, a few tweaks to the color, and some minor adjustments to the texture. Instead of having the appearance of a gym class dodge ball, Peter Parker’s disguise actually looks like the comics.
Many fans wondered if Spider-Man’s black suit would make an appearance in the flick after spying the costume’s eyes in the teaser video released by Webb. A number of reports about Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 are starting to pop up now that production is underway. Digital Spy reports that Chronicle star Dane DeHaan recently said he had to put on some muscle in order to prepare for his role as Harry Osborn.
He explained to Time :
“Right now it’s just about getting all my work done and bulking up a little bit. I’ll start shooting fairly soon in New York. I work out incredibly intensely six days a week and I eat every two hours. Mostly proteins and veggies. I consume at least 3,000 calories a day. I’ve already gained seven pounds in six weeks! I weigh more right now than I’ve ever weighed in my whole life. I’ve always constantly had trouble putting on weight, so it’s actually a whole lot for me.”
