COMMENTARY | Leonardo DiCaprio is stepping away from the movie business for a while, claiming he needs to take a break and help save the environment.

Leonardo DiCaprio, 38, may be a top-billed star who can make you decide to see a movie, but he isn’t letting his head swell over it. He claims he’s taking some time out to recharge and think about his life and and do some good deeds.

According to the Huffington Post , Leonardo DiCaprio has discussed getting older in the business.

“I guess the big four-o hasn’t entered my consciousness yet. I believe it’s very important to look back on the choices you’ve made and re-analyze where you want your life to go and the things you want to do as an individual.”

In demand as ever due to “Django Unchained” and “Inception”, as The Inquisitr has previously reported, Leonardo DiCaprio is taking a break. As also mentioned in The Inquisitr , DiCaprio felt uncomfortable with his character in “Django Unchained” and might need time to center himself again, or so he says.

“I am a bit drained. I’m now going to take a long, long break. I’ve done three films in two years and I’m just worn out.”

Three films in two years? Has Leonardo DiCaprio even seen what Bruce Willis has been doing? Willis is a lot older than DiCaprio and he’s done far more films in the same amount of time. What about Danny Trejo? We don’t see him taking a break after starring in “Death Race: Inferno”, “Sushi Girl”, “Rise of the Zombies”, and several other films and TV shows just in 2012.

According to Wiz Bang Blog , Leonardo DiCaprio has gone on record as saying:

“I would like to improve the world a bit. I will fly around the world doing good for the environment.”

Leonardo DiCaprio’s going to use a private jet and add to global warming in order to “do good for the environment”? I smell irony, or possibly jet fuel.

“If we destroy our environment we destroy ourselves.” Wise words from Ted Turner. #rioplussocial

Do you think Leonardo DiCaprio even has a clue how he is going to save the environment?
