Former Playboy playmate Holly Madison has given birth to her first child, a baby girl.
Madison, who rose to fame on the E! reality TV series The Girls Next Door , welcomed the baby with current boyfriend, Pasquale Rotella.
“Pasquale and I welcomed our first child, a baby girl!” Madison told In Touch magazine . “We haven’t yet decided on a name for her but we couldn’t be any more overjoyed than at this moment.”
According to In Touch , Madison and Rotella’s new bundle of joy was born on Tuesday at 11:59 am in Las Vegas and weighed in at 7 pounds, 2 ounces.
The couple, who announced the pregnancy in August and plan to get married over the summer , said the child will come home to a newly finished Alice in Wonderland-themed nursery.
“I’ve never been more in love than I am today as, after months of waiting, I finally was able to hold my daughter for the first time,” said Pasquale, 38. “Holly and I are looking forward to spending some quiet time with our baby and enjoying our new family. I’m truly the luckiest man in the world.”
Holly’s pregnancy and birthing process was filmed for an upcoming baby television special scheduled to air later this year. The new mom also has plans to eat her own placenta via pill form (a practice meant to speed up the recovery process after delivery and ward off postpartum depression).
“This might sound gross, but I’m totally planning on having my placenta turned into pills I can take after giving birth,” the former Playboy model said earlier this year. “I heard it helps women recover faster and I want to recover as quickly as I can!”
