Jaden Smith recently opened up about his relationship with Kylie Jenner.
Although reports have suggested that the Karate Kid star and Kim Kardashian’s half-sister are striking up a relationship, the actor explained they are just friends.
Jaden Smith also told the folks at Wonderland Magazine that spending time with Kylie Jenner was “pretty awesome.”
“I was in L.A., we were all hanging out. Then I went to New York and she came too, then she came here [to London] and surprised me, so that’s pretty baller. She’s one of my best friends. It’s pretty awesome,” the After Earth star explained during the interview.
Not surprisingly, the actor’s comments about his relationship with Kylie Jenner contradict reports that were making the rounds earlier this month.
“They’re dating. It’s new, but they’ve been friends forever,” an insider explained to Us Weekly .
Smith and Jenner spent some time together in London last month when he opened for his friend Justin Bieber. Jaden also discussed what happened during the “Boyfriend” singer’s infamous birthday party.
“I went to his hotel. I gave him his Cartier. And then I went to see Kanye West perform. I got him the Love Bangle, not the watch. It cut him, but yeah, he thought it was cool,” Smith said.
As for getting turned away from the club where Bieber’s party was being held, Jaden claimed it never happened.
When he isn’t fielding questions about Kylie Jenner or shutting down rumors about Justin Bieber’s birthday party, Jaden Smith finds a little time to promote his upcoming science fiction flick After Earth . The flick, which co-stars Will Smith, opens in theaters on June 7.
