‘Justice League’ Script Is ‘Terrible,’ Warner Bros. Looking To Rewrite

The script for the proposed Justice League movie is reportedly so terrible that Warner Bros. may have scrapped the entire screenplay.

Word on the street is that the studio is having trouble getting the project to come together. According to Badass Digest , sources have stated that Gangster Squad scribe Will Beall’s script isn’t very good. As a result, Warner Bros. has tossed it into the proverbial trash can.

What does this mean for the Justice League movie? While some folks believe the project will never come to fruition; others think the studio will sally forth in an effort to cash in on the current superhero craze.

Warner Bros. executives aren’t the only ones who are currently taking issue with the Justice League flick. Kick-Ass creator Mark Millar, who oversees Marvel projects for 20th Century Fox, recently told SciFiNow that the project was essentially a waste of $200 million.

Millar explained:

“I actually think the big problem for them is the characters are just too out of date. The characters were created 75 years ago, even the newest major character was created 68 years ago, so they’re in a really weird time.”

Although Warner Bros. is currently having some trouble with the Justice League movie, the studio will likely move forward with production should Man of Steel prove to be a huge box office success. The Inquisitr previously reported that the future of the project is hinged on how well Superman performs this summer.

If Zack Snyder’s reboot fails to connect with audiences, then executives could completely turn their backs on the Justice League movie. Of course, the same thing might happen if the studio doesn’t receive the right script in the near future.

Are you looking forward to the proposed Justice League flick? Are you worried about recent rumors that writer Will Beall’s script for the project is terrible?
