Rihanna and Chris Brown aren’t the only ones who found themselves a little love connection after the VMAs last night . Rumor has it that Demi Lovato and Niall Horan of One Direction are kind-of sort-of dating, a spark fanned into flame by the couple’s apparent date last night after the awards show.
According to US Weekly , 20-year-old Lovato and 18-year-old One Direction member Horan went to the Pink Taco after the VMAs last night to grab a bite to eat. Might not seem like such a big deal, even though the two went with just each other, except that Lovato and Horan have had celebrity gossip sites guessing since Lovato admitted that she thinks Horan is “adorable” in an interview earlier this year. Furthermore, Horan’s One Direction amigos picked Lovato as his perfect match during a round of “Rapid Fire Romance” on etalk in June. “Niall dreams dirty things!” Harry Styles joked.
Maybe the two were simply celebrating their accomplishments that evening. After all, Lovato won a VMA Moonman award for Best Video with a Message for her hit song “Skyscraper.” Last night’s VMAs marked One Direction’s first year in attendance, and they took home three awards for Most Share-Worthy Video, Best New Artist and Best Pop Video for “What Makes You Beautiful.”
Oh yeah, and Horan got to kiss Katy Perry last night. Did you see her in that dress? Definitely something to celebrate.
