Black Friday is right around the corner, and high tech toys are expected to be prominently featured as doorbusters in ads by major retailers. Scoring great bargains on the top toy gadgets might require getting in line very early before the Christmas wish list items disappear.

The Black Friday Ads website is only in the early stages of releasing sales fliers but has already compiled a list of the most popular high tech toys of 2012. As previously noted on The Inquisitr , another holiday shopping website leaked the alleged Great Big Toys R Us Book . The highly anticipated toy catalog boasts many, if not all, of the kids gadgets touted on the top tech list.

The Crayola Digital Light Designer is shaping up to be one of the most sought after tech toys by both boys and girls this year. Children and tweens who love to draw and can’t seem to put down their parent’s iPad will likely put this electronic art toy at the top of their Christmas list.

LEGO Life of George brings the classic building toy into the modern high tech era. The mobile device includes a game board with a gross of LEGO pieces. When children download the Life of George app on any Android or iOS device, the player is instructed to build a specific item. The project is scored based upon both completion time and accuracy.

Even Barbie has gone high tech this year. The Barbie Photo Fashion Doll has a built in digital camera which displays images on the doll’s t-shirt. A little girl can snap a photo of the family pet, and Barbie proudly display the image as a part of her fashion ensemble. The digital camera can store more than 100 photos. The images appear on the doll’s shirt with customizable frames, borders, and graphics. A pink USB cord allows the images to be saved to the computer or printed.
