Kimo Leopoldo is alive! Despite the strong reports yesterday that the UFC veteran had died ( our coverage here ) the ex-champ is apparently live and well..and interested to learn he has died.
“When I saw the sites, it scared me,” Leopoldo told the media. “I wondered, are they predicting the future or am I cursed?” It was neither, though it still made for a memorable day.”
It does turn out though that Kimo was sentenced to 10 days of community service and participation in a drug diversion program yesterday on drug charges and a charge of impersonating a police officer.
The interesting part of the story is that the news was said to have been broken by UFC fighter Beau Taylor. Why would Taylor detail Kimo’s death? Is this part of some sort of pre-publicity to a Kimo comeback maybe?
