With its hopping nightlife and relatively high number of singles and sizzling job growth, Forbes.com’s 8th annual ranking of America’s Best Cities for Singles named Atlanta as the top city.
The list ranks 40 of the largest urbanized areas in the U.S. in different categories like the city’s “cool factor” (whatever that means), cost of living alone, culture, job growth,online dating, nightlife, and the number of singles.
San Francisco dropped to second followed by Dallas-Fort Worth and Minneapolis-St. Paul (tied for third), Washington D.C., Seattle, Boston, new York City, Orlando, and Phoenix.
Looking for Los Angeles? It’s at 16th place. My personal choice could have been Boston, New York, and San Franciso. Fortunately, I am happily married.
By the way, the worst city for singles is Jacksonville, Florida.
