Are Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner on the rocks? Recent episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians seem to indicate that the couple’s 21-year marriage may be evaporating.
On the latest episode of the hit reality show, Kris Jenner muses over the idea of divorce from Bruce Jenner and starting a new chapter in her life, the first sentence of which starts on an old note with the man who broke up her marriage to Robert Kardashian, Todd Waterman. After reconnecting with Waterman and spying on husband Bruce’s golf-outing with model Angie Everhart, Kris admits, “Sometimes I think there is another chapter for me,” hinting at the possible dissolution of her marriage to Bruce, reports the Huffington Post .
Kris justified her decision to reconnect with the man who ruined her first marriage after spying on Bruce’s “golf date” with Everhart, reports Us Weekly . After watching 62-year-old Bruce “flirt” with Everhart, Kris confessed, “I’ve never really been around Bruce when I feel like he’s had chemistry with somebody else,” continuing, “After 21 years of marriage, I don’t think I was prepared to see what I did when I came out here.”
Many media outlets have attacked Kris for her immaturity, especially after she met Waterman for drinks on the show. BuddyTV remarked, “Of course, she’s perfectly justified in this because a friendly game of golf equals chatting with a man you cheated on your ex-husband with, right?”
Of course, Bruce’s excuse is weak-sauce too. “I’m looking forward to playing golf with Angie,” Bruce explained. “I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. Plus, she’s a lot better looking than some of my friends.”
Some top experts allege that Bruce and Kris haven’t been in love with each other for quite some time – rather, they are infatuated with fame, reports Hollywood Life . “The problem with Bruce and Kris’ marriage is that they are more in love with fame and fortune than with each other,” says psychiatrist Dr. Carole Lieberman. “Despite how much of it they already have, it never seems enough. So they blame each other for doing, or not doing, things that would make their empire grow.”
