Oprah Winfrey’s highly-anticipated pow-wow with the Kardashians airs Sunday at 8:00 p.m. on OWN. Until then, Oprah has teased about the interview’s content, particularly some of her hardest-hitting questions for Kim Kardashian .
Asking the Kardashians en masse whether or not they’re “completely ego centered” and whether they’re “really ‘famous for being famous’” was just the tip of the iceberg. Oprah asked Kim if she ever felt exploited by mother and manager Kris Jenner. “I think that’s so ridiculous,” Kim replied . “First of all, we have to hire a manager. So regardless, someone is going to get that [job]. No one will fight harder for you than your own mother,” she said, according to E! News. “She knows us. She knows all of our moods. … We just get each other. We vibe. It works.”
Of course, Oprah asked Kim about her 72-day marriage to Kris Humpries . What Kim has to say about that is apparently quite juicy. “Everyone who’s asked was the marriage a publicity stunt? Why did she leave after 72 days? Her answer leveled me,” said Oprah on her Facebook.
Keeping Kim in the hot-seat, Oprah also asked about Kanye West . “I love that I’m with someone who’s a couple years older than me,” Kim said. “I love that my friends are sometimes even 20, 30 years older than me. That I can just enjoy their company and their experiences.”
But who says it’s true love? Oprah properly asked, “Is Kanye West the new fairy tale?”
