Kate Gosselin has been associated with millionaire Jeff Prescott for months. Then, after numerous reports claiming that Kate was dating Jeff, came the reports that Gosselin had been dumped because Prescott would not participate in her Kate Plus 8 reality TV show, reported Entertainment Tonight .
Now 40, Kate began to have problems with the 52-year-old millionaire over the New York City filming for Gosselin’s TV series. Set to begin in just a few days, with massive amounts of preparation work, Kate Plus 8 became minus Gosselin’s wealthy boyfriend, because he wanted to protect his own three kids, said an insider.
When Jeff’s team specifically recommended that he not film with Kate, Gosselin’s guy pal decided it was time to split, added the source.
However, that was only the final piece of the breakup puzzle between Kate and Jeff, according to the insider. Gosselin had become upset with the way that Jeff constantly traveled internationally, and unbeknownst to Kate, Prescott encountered his new 26-year-old gal pal on one of those trips.
The millionaire’s replacement for Kate isn’t just noticeably younger, said the source. She’s a beautiful blonde who speaks five languages and is working on a new line of beauty products to boost her own visibility.
“[Kate is] devastated,” said the source of how Gosselin reacted to the split. “[She thought they had] a special connection.”

Prior to supposedly dumping Kate, Jeff had taken her on a date in Philadelphia that included a luxury restaurant and casino, with plenty of PDA.
But now, Gosselin is responding to all these reports by denying that she was in a relationship with Prescott, reported E! News .
“Sorry guys. You’ve been ‘duped’ by the tabloids again! There was no breakup recently/at all. Gotta b in a relationship in order 2 ‘break up’!” tweeted Kate.
Gosselin isn’t the only one with a denial of published reports about her relationships. Her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, also is denying that he made fun of Kate when he heard the news about her alleged split.
Jon, who is dating Colleen Conrad, supposedly posted an emoji of celebration hands on Facebook. But Gosselin insists that it’s not his account, and that he wouldn’t trash Kate because he has eight little Gosselins to protect.
“[It is] a constant source of frustration, to see impostors post the most ridiculous things,” said Jon. “I have teenage kids now who are on social media. They read everything, and the last thing I’m going to do is trash their mother.”
