Great news for Nintendo Wii owners. In a month (on June 8th) the Nintendo Wii MotionPlus accessory is released. The good news doesn’t stop here.
Originally Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and Grand Slam Tennis was set for a July release, however with Nintendo’s announcement EA Sports has changed the release date of Tiger Woods and Grand Slam Tennis for June 8th.
Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 has an MSRP of $59.99 when bundled with the Wii MotionPlus. Both products will be available for $49.99 without the accessory. In Europe Grand Slam Tennis will be bundle with the dongle. The Wii MotionPlus dongle has a retail price of $19.99. So what exactly does this thingy do?
The Wii MotionPlus accessory attaches to the end of the Wii Remote and, combined with the accelerometer and the sensor bar, allows for more comprehensive tracking of a player’s arm position and orientation, providing players with an unmatched level of precision and immersion. Every slight movement players make with their wrist or arm is rendered identically in real time on the screen, providing a true 1:1 response in their game play.

In July Nintendo will release a sequel to the very popular Wii Sports named Wii Sports Resort. According to rumours the game will feature 10 new games (Frisbee, Jet Skiing and Kendo are some of them) and takes place on the island known from Wii Fit.
Will you spend the $19.99 on a dongle and make your Wiimote the most expensive controller in the world? I’m a huge Tiger Woods PGA Tour-fan, so I’ll have to spend my hard earned money it.
