Leah Messer spanking one of her twins in Teen Mom 2 isn’t going over well with viewers. Leah is receiving some criticism for her choice of punishment, and Messer’s spanking is creating a mess.
Is there justification? Leah is raising three children, and Messer also is in the midst of battling for custody with ex-husband Corey Simms. Messer also has issues with husband Jeremy Calbert. As a result, that spanking was the result of stress, reported Us Weekly .
“I just feel stressed out now,” said Leah during the episode. “I forgot today’s the first day they’ve been back [from Corey’s house]. Maybe it’s the transition from his house to my house. Ali does good, it’s more Gracie.”
Messer has twin daughters, and Aleeah Grace got cranky at one point during the spanking episode. The little girl yelled, and then hit a toy trike that her younger sister was on.
“Gracie! Get that right now,” yelled Leah.
Messer, prior to spanking her daughter, gave her a warning.
“I’m not playing. You’re going to pick that up! You’re not going to act like this in front of people. Do you understand? I’ve had enough. I don’t know why you’re acting like this.”
Leah then spanked Aleeah.
Corey, Leah’s ex, is the father of Messer’s twins Ali and Aleeah Grace. Their baby sister Adalyn’s father is Jeremy.
Charging that Leah is not a good mother, Corey has filed for full custody. But both he and Jeremy may be off Teen Mom 2 , according to Realitytea .
“Corey is done with the show,” said an insider.
The twins’ dad has remarried, and his new wife is pregnant.
“He’s told MTV he will not return for another season. He doesn’t think the money is worth the aggravation anymore,” added the source.
And Leah isn’t alone in having problems co-parenting. While Messer resorted to spanking, her Teen Mom 2 co-stars Chelsea Houska, Jenelle Evans, and Kailyn Lowry had their own struggles, with their children paying the price, reported Us Weekly .
Chelsea’s daughter Aubree visited father Adam Lind and came back misbehaving. As a result, Chelsea wants future visits between Aubree and her dad to be recorded and monitored at a visitation center, which Adam is battling.
Kailyn Lowry and Javi also are battling. Still married, Lowry is frustrated, she revealed to a pal.
“Javi and I got into a huge fight. I don’t know. I’m so close to just throwing the towel in. I just want to be happy. We rushed into marriage, we rushed into having another baby. We never figured out this stuff prior to getting married.”
And Jenelle Evans is trying to regain custody of Jace, her son, who currently is with her mother Barbara Evans. Jenelle has succeeded in, for now, improving her relationship with fiancé, Nathan Griffith, and Evans wants her son back.
As the Inquisitr reported, reality TV star Mackenzie McKee, known from Teen Mom , is busy not with children but with funding breast implants. McKee reportedly set up a fund so that she could pay for the surgery and achieve her goal of a fuller figure.
