Shawn Booth is rumored to be the winner of this season’s Bachelorette, but reports indicate that he and Kaitlyn Bristowe may have already ended their relationship and are only keeping up appearances for the sake of the show.
Even before Kaitlyn handed out her final rose and accepted a proposal from one of the two remaining men vying for her hand in marriage, reports indicated that Booth was the one she would choose at the end. But now some reports indicate that it may not matter which man Kaitlyn picked.
There have been longstanding rumors that Kaitlyn will spurn both men at the Bachelorette finale , deciding to reject both proposals and remain single. While that thought has generally given way to a belief that Shawn Booth will win in the end, it may be true that Kaitlyn Bristowe has no plans to marry.
The gossip site Celeb Dirty Laundry reported this week that Kaitlyn and Shawn are already splitting up, but waiting a little longer to make it public.
‘Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth are still technically under contract with ABC and The Bachelorette though, and sources say that the producers are pressuring them to keep their break-up under wraps so the season 11 finale will look good, just like they did with Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules. An insider dished to CDL, ‘The producers aren’t saying they have to go through with the wedding, but they are reminding Kaitlyn and Shawn what they signed up for – and how they made Juan Pablo’s life a living hell when he didn’t conform. Also, they keep reminding Kaitlyn and Shawn that if they are not together, all of the perks of being the winning Bachelorette couple will go away, like the red carpet events, free tickets, and other gifts they are showered with.’ “
The same outlet has reported that Kaitlyn Bristowe is getting in trouble with Bachelorette producers for failing to go along with their storylines. Kaitlyn’s idea of rejecting both men reportedly didn’t go over well with them, which may have forced her into the relationship with Shawn.
If rumored Bachelorette winner Shawn Booth is indeed faking his relationship with Kaitlyn Bristowe, he likely wouldn’t be the first winner to do so. There were rumors that other couples fizzled out in the weeks between the actual final rose ceremony and the finale airing, including the latest couple in Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules.
