Real Housewives Of New York star Heather quitting? That’s the hot Housewives show shocker, as strong personalities ranging from Bethenny Frankel to Luann de Lesseps have dominated on RHONY , leaving Heather Thomson making the decision that it’s time to exit, reported Us Weekly .
Heather most likely will be quitting the Real Housewives Of New York as soon as her third season ends, said an insider. Instead, Thomson wants to use her time for her family, friends, and Yummie business.
“She wants to focus full-time on her business, Yummie, her family, and expanding into the health and nutrition arena,” clarified the source. “The cons of doing the show far outweigh the pros at this point, and what the show has become don’t [sic] fit what she wants to be doing.”
Moreover, the insider revealed that Heather decided to go on the RHONY only to give a boost to her shapewear line. But as Thomson watched her profile on the show turn into constant battles with Bethenny Frankel and Dorinda Medley, Heather decided it was time to quit Real Housewives .
“She did the show to promote her business and later to be with her best friend, Carole Radziwill, and didn’t expect it to end up with fighting with Bethenny and Sonja [Morgan] and the rest edited out,” added the insider. “It is no longer a good fit with where she sees her life going, so she is making the choice to walk away.”
But as the Real Housewives fans fret about Heather quitting, breakout star Bethenny Frankel is breathing more easily now that she has her own home, she told People .
“This is the first real home I’ve had in my entire life,” revealed the 44-year-old Housewives star, who quit the show dramatically before returning recently. “I’ve moved around so much. And in the places I’ve rented, I hardly ever wanted to put pictures up because I didn’t feel like it’s mine.”
With five bedrooms and a guest house, home is where the heart and happiness are, says Bethenny.
“Everything here is easy. I’m not worried about people spilling stuff. It’s like the Destiny’s Child song Independent Women, Pt. 1: ‘Shoes on my feet, I bought ’em. I depend on me.’ I wanted to make it mine.”
As for her role on Real Housewives Of New York City , Frankel spilled what she really thought in her Bravo blog .
And Bethenny made it sound as if she doesn’t know that the Housewives will soon be losing Heather, as she is quitting, making the assumption that it was all settled in terms of the drama with Dorinda and Luann.
“That Dorinda dinner was nuts. They all curse like drunken sailors, and Luann acted like some innocent prayer circle girl. I totally got what Heather was saying and was backing her up,” stated Frankel. “Glad to see her and Heather work it out.”
As the Inquisitr reported, Frankel recently dished on topics ranging from charges that she is too skinny to her hotly-contested divorce during an appearance on the Dr. Oz Show .
While the Real Housewives Of New York star is trying to stay focused on her entrepreneurial life, she also is well aware of the criticism that she’s received about her weight and constant eating disorder rumors, she admitted to Dr. Oz. In addition, Bethenny is touting a tell-all book that she’s authored called I Suck at Relationships So You Don’t Have To , which is on the New York Times ‘ bestseller list.
