Bristol Palin took a pregnant pause after the brouhaha resulting from her first blog announcing that the unwed mother of one was sporting a new baby bump. But now, after having read through the responses, Bristol is firing back with a photo of her sonogram and support from her first child’s father, Levi Johnston, reported Extra .
Known for her campaigns for abstinence, Bristol’s first pregnancy announcement admitted her fear that it would be regarded with disappointment.
“[My pregnancy announcement could be] a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you,” blogged Palin.
However, just two days later, Bristol shared her sonogram and changed the “disappointment” theme.
“I made a mistake, but it’s not the mistake all these giddy a**h**les have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned,” Palin claimed.
“Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family. Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn’t go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on.”
Moreover, Bristol’s ex-fiancé, Levi Johnston, is emphasizing that he supports Bristol. The father of 6-year-old Tripp is now married, but said that he and his wife Sunny will help, reported TMZ .
Although he’s had a custody battle, Johnston describes Bristol as a “great mom.”
In addition, Levi expressed sympathy for the fact that she cancelled her planned wedding to war hero Dakota Meyer.
The marriage ceremony was cancelled one week prior to the wedding date.
As for why Bristol called off the wedding, she said Meyer was too controlling, according to Extra .
“[Bristol] told people that she broke up with Dakota partly because he was super controlling and made her move to Kentucky,” said a source.
When mom Sarah Palin learned the news, she praised Bristol.
“[My daughter is] very grounded, very practical in terms of making a lifelong commitment, she knows that hey, everything’s got to be worked out before you actually make that commitment. She posted something today, like, ‘Let god work everything out so that everything works together instead of maybe in the future everything falling apart,’ so that kind of speaks to her character and her heart, knowing that questions have to be answered, issues have to be worked out before you actually say I do, and I will be there with you for the rest of our lives… so that, just kind of alluding to some of challenges.”
Although Bristol did not name the father of her unborn child, a source said that the father is her ex-fiancé Dakota, as the Inquisitr reported.
