The 2016 presidential election is turning into a huge race, and the addition of Bobby Jindal only makes it bigger. While it’s still a bit into the future, many are wondering what the betting odds, presidential polls, and approval ratings are for those who have thrown their hats into the ring, such as Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Jeb Bush, and others.

As of June 25, here are the names of those that have officially announced their intention to run for President of the United States, per the New York Times .

Democratic Party

  • Hillary Rodham Clinton
  • Bernie Sanders
  • Martin O’Malley
  • Lincoln Chafee

Republican

  • Jeb Bush
  • Rand Paul
  • Marco Rubio
  • Ted Cruz
  • Bobby Jindal
  • Donald Trump
  • Ben Carson
  • Carly Fiorina
  • Mike Huckabee
  • Rick Santorum
  • George Pataki
  • Lindsey Graham
  • Rick Perry

A handful of others are still undecided, and could enter before everything truly begins. That includes current Vice President Joe Biden, but it is seeming more and more likely that he won’t run.

Already, there is a lot of campaigning going on, and approval ratings popping up in different states. The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump’s approval rating in New Hampshire is only behind that of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush .

Paddy Power has actually posted the current betting odds for the 2016 presidential election, and it appears as if Clinton is leading so far. Some have not yet announced their intent to run.

  • Hillary Clinton – 10/11
  • Jeb Bush – 10/3
  • Marco Rubio – 8/1
  • Scott Walker – 10/1
  • Rand Paul – 20/1
  • Bernie Sanders – 20/1
  • Ben Carson – 25/1
  • Joe Biden – 33/1
  • Martin O’Malley – 33/1
  • Ted Cruz – 33/1
  • Andrew Cuomo – 40/1
  • John Kerry – 40/1
  • Condoleezza Rice – 40/1
  • Bobby Jindal – 40/1
  • Donald Trump – 50/1
  • Rick Santorum – 50/1

A number of early 2016 presidential polls have been held and Clinton, again, appears to be jumping out to the front. In the Iowa Democratic Presidential Caucus, the Bloomberg Poll shows that Clinton has a +26 spread.

In an early 2016 Republican Presidential Nomination poll by Fox News , Jeb Bush actually has a +4 spread. In the Democratic poll, Clinton had an even bigger early lead, with a +46 spread over Sanders, Biden, Webb, and others.

Many believe that Donald Trump’s popularity and approval rating could keep on rising and going up. That is believed to be what would put him in as the Republican candidate, but that he would eventually go against Hillary Clinton and give her a landslide victory.

The 2016 presidential polls are very early at this point, and it’s going to be interesting with Donald Trump, Bobby Jindal, Hillary Clinton, and others involved. There is no telling what could happen over the course of the next year, but look for massive ups and downs in all of their approval ratings.
