Kristen Taekman may have been a working model and a partial stay-at-home mother last season of The Real Housewives of New York , but Kristen is learning that she has plenty of tools and resources to start her own business.
With both Heather Thomson and Bethenny Frankel running large companies, Kristen also has plenty of support in her entrepreneurial husband. However, it sounds like she isn’t approaching it in the right way.
Apparently, Kristen Taekman has started a nail polish line that she is very passionate about. It fits perfectly with her brand, her new fashion blog and her work as a model. And while Taekman is super proud and excited about her line, she may not be paying attention to the smaller details when it comes to business. And apparently, Bethenny Frankel had a thing or two to say about it to her co-stars.
According to a new US Weekly report, Kristen Taekman confronts Frankel on tonight’s episode over her business decisions. Apparently, Kristen had heard from her co-stars that Bethenny thought it was stupid that Kristen didn’t have her nail polish name trademarked if she was going to do business. And during a night out, Taekman pulls Frankel aside for a chat.
“Listen, I feel like we haven’t connected at all. I feel like with you in general, there’s, like, these walls up. You’re going through a lot of stuff,” Kristen Taekman says, acknowledging that Frankel is going through lots of stuff, but adds, “I want you to know my nail polish line, I am really, really, really passionate about it. For me, it is like the biggest thing ever… now you’re telling me that it’s not trademarked.”
Frankel may have felt that the comment came completely out of nowhere, because she appears shocked. She had a feeling that Kristen had a problem with her, as she was called over to chat away from the ladies, but Bethenny wasn’t keen on talking business with Kristen. She simply adds that she has to go, clearly not happy about Taekman’s attack on her.
But these two ladies haven’t been getting along. Of course, Kristen has been dealing with her own issues, including marital troubles on her first season of The Real Housewives of New York , while Frankel is going through a very public divorce. Kristen wasn’t invited to Bethenny’s birthday party, but according to the Inquisitr , Taekman could still show compassion when listening to her co-star’s past.
