Is Kate Gosselin engaged?
The Kate Plus 8 star was spotted with a pretty sparkly diamond ring on that finger, which sent the internet into a tizzy. However, the mom of eight is not engaged. According to E! News , the ring was seen at the TLC Summer Block Party in Philadelphia over the weekend, and pictures cause the rumors to fly. Fans of the show, however, probably saw the same ring on Kate’s finger during the Kate Plus 8 Mother’s Day special.

Turns out, it’s just a pretty piece of jewelry that Kate bought herself in honor of her 40th birthday… and that’s exactly what she confirmed on Twitter.

Kate Gosselin might not be engaged, but some people do think that she is dating someone despite her denial. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Kate was spotted out with Jeff Prescott last month. The two enjoyed dinner together before heading to a casino to have some adult-level fun. Kate has said that she and Jeff are “just friends,” but the photos prove that there was a bit of PDA going on, innocent or not.
“Jeff played had stacks of $100 bills on the table and the couple enjoyed bottle service while sneaking kisses and getting affectionate while gambling. They didn’t leave the casino until about 1:40 a.m,” said a source at the time.
According to Enstars, Prescott has three children of his own and is also divorced. Sources say that he’s going through some rough times with his ex when it comes to the custody and well-being of his children.
“[He] supposedly tried to manipulate his three children Ashley, Brooke, and Connor to side against their mother during the ex-couple’s court battles. What’s more, his ex-wife even claims that he was a rather absent father during their childhood as he supposedly had infrequent visits with them and would sometimes be unreachable for a couple of days,” reports Enstars .
