From Jane Fonda in films to Renee Zellweger, who looked radiant at a recent gala, to Kris Jenner on reality TV, plastic surgery rumors are spreading. So who did, and who didn’t? Fonda is one woman willing to set the record straight about cosmetic surgery , reported Fairfax Media .
Candid that she has undergone plastic surgery, Jane offers a new definition for feminism.
“Feminism simply means that you’re in it for humanity, and that goes for men, too. It means we’re in it for people, and all our strengths and our weaknesses. I see young women who claim they’re not feminists, and what I say to myself is they probably don’t really understand what it means, otherwise they wouldn’t mind being identified as feminist.”
Fonda uses a combination of plastic surgery with diet and exercise.
“I look good for my age,” she says proudly. “I walk, I can’t run any more but I walk, I do resistance training, light weights and Pilates and stretching and yoga. But I do things very carefully – very, very slowly. I work out in order to be able to live my life safely.”
In contrast, Renee Zellwegger , as the Inquisitr reported, declined to discuss why she suddenly looked so much younger and radiant. Social media and tabloids exploded recently with speculation that she had procedures such as a brow lift.
Medical talk show The Doctors addressed the question by featuring plastic surgeon Dr. Drew Ordon. He pointed to a photo and said that he detected an incision line in her forehead. Based on that discovery and her altered upper face, Dr. Ordon said that Renee underwent a brow lift.
“Clearly they have brought things up,” said the plastic surgeon, pointing to the differences between Zellweger’s older photos and current images.
In addition to the brow lift, Dr. Ordon speculated that Renee also underwent upper eyelid surgery. He noted the changes in her cheeks and emphasized that while she looks great, she also had volume added to counter the effects of aging.
But Renee fought back, reported the Daily Mail .
“I’m glad folks think I look different! I’m living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I’m thrilled that perhaps it shows,” she said of the plastic surgery rumors. “My friends say that I look peaceful. I am healthy.”
As for Kris Jenner , the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch and queen of Keeping Up with the Kardashians recently claimed that a bout of flu kept her from the public spotlight, but an expert claims she had plastic surgery, according to Radar Online .
“Kris Jenner looks like she is definitely trying to keep up with her daughters’ plastic surgery,” said plastic surgeon Anthony Youn after analyzing her before-and-after pictures. “Her face looks very smooth and plumped up, especially for a woman of her age.”
So how did she do it?
“I suspect that she’s undergone injections of Botox to smooth her forehead and crow’s feet, also resulting in her arched brows,” contended the surgeon.
