Jessica Simpson, besides trying to lure as many country music fans as possible on the cover of Elle , may have actually undergone a transformation (I know ). Nope, not just on the outside. . . she was convincingly humble as she talked about her relationships.
Jessica first admitted to trying to change herself for the men in her life, including being “artsier, more intellectual.” She got even more honest as she continued to talk about her past not-so-good times:
“I don’t want to talk about it, but I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run. I know that I sing it with experience.”
Then she had to go and ruin the moment by talking about Papa Joe . Nobody said she as perfect.
