The Boston Latin School has issued a statement denying reports that Vampires were roaming school halls.
Students at the school had claimed publicly that three students that believed they were vampires had bitten a student, and that at least on of them had been arrested. According to local reports, the “rumors were strong enough to cause anxiety among the student body and disrupt classes on Thursday.”
“I seek your cooperation in redirecting your energy toward the learning objectives of the day. Please do not sensationalize or discuss these rumors,” a teacher wrote in a letter sent to faculty, students and parents.
Former students at the school include Ben Franklin, Sam Adams and John Hancock.
