Brad Pitt was reportedly caught cheating, leading an enraged Angelina Jolie to give him the mysterious bruise that has been making headlines in recent days.
When Pitt showed up last week sporting a black and blue mark underneath his eye, rumors began to swirl as to the source of the mark. Brad even remarked about the bruise when he appeared at a charity event to benefit autism research.
“This is what happens when you try to run up steps in the dark, with your arms full, wearing flip flops,” Pitt said. “Turns out if you then try to stop your forward momentum with your face, the result is road rash.”
Brad said he didn’t want to let the bruise keep him from the charity event.
“Regardless, I wasn’t going to miss the Autism Speaks benefit the night after – wonderful people and I was honored to be a part of this important event.”
But now there is a new explanation circulating for the mysterious mark . This week’s issue of InTouch Weekly claims that Angelina Jolie caught Brad Pitt in bed with another woman, leading to “the fight to end all fights.”
Celeb Dirty Laundry had more details:
“Apparently, the ‘incident’ happened in Brad and Angelina’s home, and Angelina made Brad ‘pay’ when he found out. Plus, Brad has apparently been hiding ‘secrets’ for months, supposedly to do with this cheating, and they then had a ‘ fight to end all fights.’”
But the report went on to cast doubt on the Brad Pitt cheating story, noting that tabloids have long printed rumors about Brad and Angelina that have turned out to be untrue.
This isn’t even the first time that InTouch Weekly has reported on infidelity between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Last year, the magazine reported that Angelina was caught cheating with her Unbroken co-star Jack O’Connell.
A source told In Touch Weekly that Angelina was initially just trying to make Brad jealous, but then started to develop real feelings for O’Connell.
“Their attraction is palpable,” the source said. “She’s physically and emotionally drawn to Jack. Directing and bonding with him has felt dangerous, like he’s reawakened her wild, out-of-control side.”
The source went on to claim that Brad was furious with Angelina’s cheating, especially in such a public way.
“He’s super jealous. Angie and Jack were being so playful that everyone in the room felt uncomfortable,” the source said. “Brad confronted Angie afterward, but Angie told him he was overreacting and pretty much blew it off. That really stung for Brad.”
Neither Angelina Jolie nor Brad Pitt have addressed the latest cheating rumors.
