UK lego fans have set a new world record for the tallest tower made of Lego bricks: nearly 100ft (30m) high.
The tower at Legoland Windso was put together with the help of “thousands of children and their families” and is designed to resemble a Viking longboat mast to celebrate the opening of a Viking display at the fun park.
The tower consists of nearly half a million Lego bricks and was built in 20cm sections, with each section put into place by crane. The previous record of 96ft was made in Toronto in 2007.
