By the end of this month, Amanda Knox may know whether or not her troubles are over regarding the Meredith Kercher murder case. The Irish Times reports that the upcoming decision may create more trouble for the twice-convicted killer, which could put a damper on her wedding plans. That’s because Italy can soon decide to request her extradition from the U.S. back to the Italian prison where she’d already spent four years of her life. That’s something that the Seattle woman wants to avoid. In fact, she’s already declared that she’d be a fugitive if Italy requests extradition, and she’d never go back willingly.

Meanwhile, the Sunday Express reports that Knox will likely never be extradited from the U.S. to Italy. However, this information is coming from Knox’s attorney, who is citing a so-called government official he has not named. So the information is very vague and very shaky at best. At this time, everything is really just up in the air regarding whether or not Knox will be extradited to serve time in prison, much less whether or not her conviction will be upheld.

Much debate exists regarding whether or not Amanda Knox should be extradited back to Italy over the murder of Meredith Kercher. The hashtag #AmandaKnox on social media — Twitter especially — is a high traffic area of discussion about her case, where supporters of the woman and people who think she’s guilty continually face off and butt heads. Her devoted American support base passionately believes that she will never be ordered to return back to Italy. Others believe that the U.S. will have no choice but to extradite her. Amanda Knox herself, however, doesn’t appear to participate in any online discussion about her case, even though she does have a Twitter account.

Do you think that Amanda Knox should be extradited if her conviction is upheld? Prosecutors in Italy are convinced that she participated in the brutal slaying of Meredith Kercher, and there are thousands of pages of evidence in this case that seems to back up everything they say. That evidence includes both circumstantial and actual forensic evidence, such as blood DNA and witness statements. Even though one man already sits in prison while Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito are free, prosecutors believe that the murder was committed by all three people in a group event. Meanwhile, Knox maintains that she never participated in the murder of her flatmate and friend.
