Bradley Cooper’s split with Suki Waterhouse appears to be official. But the two remain friends, even dining together and attending red carpet events as a couple , according to People .
After dating for two years, Bradley and Cooper decided to call it quits prior to the Academy Awards. However, they apparently decided to go as each other’s “plus one,” braving the paparazzi there as well as noshing at the posh restaurant Nobu Malibu on a different night.
So why did Suki, a famed supermodel, and Bradley, most recently earning praise for his acting in American Sniper , part ways? Cooper seems to have decided it’s time to hang out with his guy friends.
Most recently, Bradley went solo to an Elton John concert, then joined Jonah Hill and Miles Teller at a nightclub in Las Vegas. The trio are working together on a film that Bradley also is producing, called Arms & The Dudes .
While they were dating, both Suki and Bradley kept quiet about their affair. They became noticed as a couple at the 2014 Screen Actors Guild Award ceremony, and then again at an official dinner at the White House.
So what attracted them to each other? Suki offered Elle UK a few clues about why the American Sniper star turned her head and touched her heart.
“The truth is, if I start talking about him, I probably won’t be able to stop,” Waterhouse confessed.
As to reports that they met at the Elle Style Awards, where Cooper asked for her phone number, Suki is coy.
“ That didn’t happen there. But we did meet at the Style Awards, I’ll give you that. Look, maybe it’s best for me to say, ‘I’m not one of those girls who goes on about their boyfriends.’ I do think whatever I say will sound weird.”
But although Suki was willing to follow Bradley’s lead in being private about her personal life, her confession about desiring babies may have made the famously-single leading man hesitate.
“I really like the idea of having kids in not too long,” said Suki enthusiastically. “Not, like, now. And not next year. But in not too long….I think it’s the coolest thing.”
If she does get pregnant, Suki may want to take tips on maintaining that supermodel shape from Sarah Stage.
As the Inquisitr reported, Stage became famous for showing off her barely-visible baby bump in Instagram photos. Although she received some criticism for her slim figure, she also earned praise from many for her dedication to a healthy diet and fitness plan throughout her pregnancy.
