The WWE Universe hasn’t seen Brock Lesnar since February. Normally, the WWE World Heavyweight champion would appear on every show, but with Lesnar it is different. Lesnar is a “star attraction,” as some in the WWE Universe would put it. If he started to show up every single week, the nostalgia of his presence would slowly dissipate.
However, instead of talking about how his reign, the last several weeks have consisted of controversy and doubt. After Brock Lesnar walked out of Monday Night RAW in Nashville, the WWE fan-base began to question his affiliation with WWE. At this point, the possibility that WrestleMania 31 is Lesnar’s last match in WWE is 50 percent. To give that statement more credence, Jim Ross believes Lesnar will stay put.
There are three weeks left until WrestleMania . The WWE has until then to restructure his contract. Regardless of his status post- WrestleMania , Lesnar will most-likely put over Roman Reigns. That being said, if Lesnar loses, a lot can be done to solidify Reigns’ as the WWE’s next-top guy.
Monday Night RAW is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, tomorrow night and Lesnar is scheduled for the show. Is there a chance Lesnar doesn’t show up in the Steel City? According to Wrestling Inc , there’s a slim chance Brock Lesnar won’t appear at WWE RAW.
“ Brock Lesnar is still being advertised for tomorrow’s RAW at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, PA. As of this writing, he has not been added to any other shows despite missing his scheduled appearance two weeks ago. He is still currently advertised for the March 23rd RAW in Los Angeles, and the post- WrestleMania RAW in San Jose.
Given that Lesnar has two more dates left before WrestleMania , he’s still going to think like a businessman first. If he doesn’t show up, he probably loses money. On top of that, his popularity will continue to dip into the levels of obscurity. Why would Lesnar want to risk the WWE’s biggest event to save a few dollars?
Despite the financial negotiations going sour a few weeks ago, Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar do not resent each other. Contract talks are rarely easy, let alone WWE contract talks. CM Punk proved those to be an antagonizing process.
At the end of the day, Lesnar is a WWE man till the end. Yes, he left his first run to go compete in the UFC. After he conquered all he had to conquer, he returned to the WWE and hasn’t left. Will Brock Lesnar fight in the octagon again? That’s a definite possibility. Will Lesnar show up on RAW tomorrow night and resolve any issues present? That is also a definite possibility.
