Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt released a statement about her niece yesterday (March 4), which was Bobbi Kristina’s 22nd birthday. The daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston is still in a medically-induced coma after being found face down in the bathtub at her home in Georgia back in January. According to ABC News, Pat Houston confirmed that nothing has changed with her niece, but asked that prayers for her continue to be sent.
“Today is Bobbi Kristina’s 22nd birthday and we ask you to continue to keep her in your prayers as she is still fighting the battle of her life,” read the brief statement.
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt didn’t give away any information that people don’t already know. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , it seems as though both sides of the family (the Brown’s and the Houston’s) are hoping for some kind of miracle, but sources say that it is time to let Bobbi Kris go, and that nothing else can be done to help her at this point. According to the earlier report, Whitney’s mom, Cissy, has been trying to convince Bobby Brown to take his daughter off of life support , but he can’t bring himself to do so.
Rumor has it that a decision could be made as earlier as the weekend. It is presumed that Bobby Brown is the one who will need to make the decision to take his daughter off of life support, as her so-called husband, Nick Gordon, has not even been allowed at the hospital. Sources say that Bobbi and Nick never actually got married, and her family doesn’t approve of him — clearly.
Despite reports that the family is filming a reality show about all of this, the New York Daily News received a statement from Bobby Brown’s lawyer that said that the rumors are not true.
“There is no Brown family reality show that is in production which chronicles Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina or the medical emergency she presently faces at Emory Hospital. These reports are irresponsible,” said Bobby Brown’s lawyer, Christopher Brown.
Bobby Kristina’s aunt has not commented on anything else besides the 22-year-old’s current condition, and it seems clear that the family is taking things day by day. Pat Houston is the president of the Whitney Houston estate, and posted her update on Whitney’s website . She also chose to post a sweet picture of Bobbi Kris with Whitney, which fans appreciated.
