Lindsay Lohan has a unique definition of community service, and she’s not convincing everyone that a meet-and-greet with fans really should count. As a result, Lohan faces a new hearing to determine whether her future lies in jail or the opportunity to audition for grown-up versions of her previous movie successes such as Parent Trap , reported Fox News.
After years of various appearances in court over criminal charges, Lohan hoped to avoid jail in her final case, which results from a reckless driving case. But the prosecutor questioned whether Lindsay’s method of completing her community service sentence was sufficient.

As a result, the judge scheduled a new court hearing to give the prosecutor time to explore whether she had completed 80 hours of community service in nine days, as her attorney claimed. If the documentation proved to lack the requirements, the prosecutor stated that he will propose that Lindsay head to jail.
Lohan’s list of activities that she performed for community service included a meet-and-greet with fans of her London play, reported ET News . She also earned credit for allowing young people to follow her and see what she did as an actress.
Santa Monica Chief Deputy City Attorney Terry White was not impressed.
“I’d love to hang out with a celebrity all day and see their life, but that’s not community service,” declared White.
“If this was Lindsay Smith, nobody would allow this.”
If she does avoid doing jail time, what does Lindsay’s future hold for her? She recently released what was supposed to be competition for Kim Kardashian’s Hollywood , called Lindsay Lohan’s Price of Fame , according to Time .
The game allows players to pretend to be celebrities by using an avatar to buy everything from toys to pets to attire. Lohan expressed her enthusiasm for the app.
“I love this game and am happy to be part of it. It’s so much fun!” declared Lindsay.
However, can she really compete with Kim Kardashian? As the Inquisitr reported, Kardashian’s app has grossed more than $200 million.
But Kim’s app isn’t without its own controversy. Her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, has issued a cease-and-desist order resulting from the game because she contends Kim included her face without her permission, said a source. She also wants to be paid for using her image.
As for Lindsay’s app, it’s intended to be more of a parody than a real game, showing off celebrity culture and paparazzi. But whether the tarnished star can compete with the Kardashians remains to be seen.
